from designing an attractive fireplace to opulent entrances of town houses.

World of Treasures - Interiors with Flair
Living space is not just a location, but rather an emotion!
Typical for ART of EXPRESSION · Interior · Hamburg: excisting favourite
pieces are involved in the entire arrangement.
In this project - a 1930 ‘s villa - objects and furnishings have been restored, plated and gilt to achieve a different look.
They have been rearranged and put into a new context. Given that exciting option we did not see the necessity to acquire new items.
We designed various chandeliers and created a new coffee table by taking up patterns from the carpet.
Proportions have been adjusted accordingly.
Illumination, surfaces and antique materials in their various appearances, combined with technology, allows spaces to appear
in an absolute nonchalance. As for example the bar lamps which previously had been part of an Art Deco chest.
Fabrics in this interior we chose from Jim Thompson, Z&R, Eaton, Edmont Petit and Nuovo Goldoni as well as the wall colours
of PETER Interiors.

Villa Cosmopolitan
History with flair
A substantial project of high complexity, as the listed Art Nouveau villa had to be redeveloped completely and then designed.
The integration of existing historical and emotional objects as well as the alliance of modern straightness with a cosmopolitain flair were the top priority.
ART of Expression · Interior · Hamburg
saw the project right through, from the colour palette through to the conversion and finally to the construction.

Fireplace lounge
In another world
A very special mission, designing a new, individual fireplace in the centre of a listed timbered house.
Cosy, but also unconventional, the existing space had to be optimised.
Inspired by broad lofts, but assembled in accordance with the ambience of the house and the style of the client,
we created an opulent atmosphere of cushions with the character of a lounge, where the cosiness is irresistable when sitting by the centre fireplace.

Maison Française
French savoir vivre
Satisfying the wishes of the client was an inspiring challenge.
The centre of attention was the design of the kitchen - the heart of the house.
It was all about assembling modern individuality with the fascination of „not being perfect”.
A lively potpourri of old and new pieces emerged, nothing off the shelf.
One detail prevailed, every drawer and closet handle in the house is unique and has been collected affectionately from various old houses.
